story:
In centuries passed, there lived a race of cruel and heartless giants that lived upon an ancient mountain, known simply as Frostholt. These giants were feared throughout the Empire for their vicious attacks upon unsuspecting villages and towns.

Then came the great war leader Brule, who forced all the giants under his control and brought them screaming out of the north to ravage the Empire. Brule lead the giants to the very gates of Talorien and would have taken the fair city. But from the south, Emperor Titus X brought the Holy Legions and the Defenders of the Ily'kras to smash the giant legions and send them scattering back into the icy north.

Broken and defeated, Brule sat in his icy fortress and plotted revenge upon the lowly humans. One day while sitting on his throne brooding heavily, a stranger walked into his throne room, right past his elite guards. This stranger, Nabonidus by name, spoke quietly in Brule's ear, promising power untold and revenge upon the human scum. Brule roused his lazy giant forces and sent word to assemble the hordes for war.

Meanwhile, evil beings started arriving at the mountain and descending into the dormant volcano that lay below. Strange rumbling and horrible screams drifted up from the bowels of the mountain. The enslaved stone giant's numbers began to noticeably dwindle, causing no manner of panic from their leader, Corak. This is the state that Frostholt Mountain is in.

The Emperor has charged you with finding out more info from the vile fortressand returning proof that the giants mass for war.

Good luck brave adventurer, and may the Gods bless your holy mission!

Holy Emperor Titus XV, House of the Grey Rose
