| There are a series of caves in this area that are largely unexplored. However,
recent traffic suggests that some strange black-robed figures have come here to inhabit one of the caves. It has been suggested that these are Chaos Cultists who come here seeking refuge from the unforgiving legions of the Emperor. Perhaps they chose these caves at random, as a safe and secluded spot where they can practice their twisted religion undisturbed. Then again, perhaps they chose the cave they did because of the long-standing rumor that gates to other places open easily here. Some older tales suggest this as a place where Chaos Lords of old emerged from gates opened by faithful followers of chaos. Travelers and scouts to the are report feelings of uneasiness. Often they say it is as though they are being watched. The Imperial Highway Department also reports that of late single travelers have vanished in the area. Since patrols there are irregular, travelers are advised to use caution and enter at their own risk. |
