| In an effort to battle plague and disease, the mayor of Talorien decided
to build a sewer system beneath the streets of the city. The People
rejoiced and sang praises of the mayor for his dedication to the well
being of the inhabitants of this great city. But what they didnt sing
about was the large population of rats that moved into the sewers. some
of these rats actually mutated into an intelligent being with an undying
hatred for the people who live above ground.
Every once in awhile someone mysteriously dissapears in the night, but its no mystery what has happened. One of the Skaven had come up from its underground lair and snatched a victim to be tortured and usually eaten. Many a brave warrior has gone down to battle the Skaven and the rodent minions of the great rat king, few have ever been seen again. Those that do make it back alive are usually to insane to tell of what they had seen. What we have gathered tho is this, Rats, rats everywhere. If there arent rats, there are long black snakes and huge alligators looking for a meal. The sewer are cold and dark and can make your lungs bleed by the smell alone. Even if you are brave enough, and strong enough to fight the legion of rodents, you may never find your way out of the black maze of tunnels that lead to the Rat kings lair. If your thinking of going down to rescue someone, don't. Just mourn them and forget what you have heard about the army of rats living in the belly of this beautiful city. |
