The amazons are a branch of the human race who are ruled by the strongest women among them, priestesses, sorceresses, and warrior queens holding equal place of glory among their numbers. Amazon communities are usually in remote places where other folk can rarely bother the matriarchs of their tribe, and their homelands are fiercely guarded against invaders. Every amazon woman carries herself with the knowledge that she is superior to whatever may confront her, and they have little tolerance for people who show weakness in front of others.
