No one knows where the beastmen came from. Some think that they were the result of some wizard's experiments into chaos, and others believe that they have always been as they are, but the fact is that they exist and follow their own rules. Blended within their bodies is a combination of traits both human and bestial, sharp claws and fanged snouts or scaled skin being as common amongst the beastmen as black hair or blue eyes in human folk. They are a strong race, naturally equipped to face the world in times of change, and their skillfulness in many trades bespeaks their adaptable nature.
