Half-elves are a crossbreed sprung from the union of an elf and another breed, most commonly a human. They almost always possess the pointed ears of their elven parent, and their eyes are reminiscent of the upturned almond shape that elves are known for. Standing taller than the average elf, and with more physical bulk, some would say that they represent the best traits of both their parents, although they are often outcasts from purebred societies of either kind.
