Creations of the Chaos Wars, the Tk'il are giant insects which once served as terrible warriors in the armies of chaos. By mysterious means known only to their queen, they can be born into many forms, and collectively they possess amazing intelligence. Since the Chaos Wars, however, they have abandoned involvement in the affairs of Blackfire, preferring to dwell deep within their hives where they work the earth in search of gems and metals, and work them into items of incredible beauty. They rarely trade with the outside world, and then only for the things they cannot make for themselves.
