Flying mounts let you cross the wilderness quickly. You buy a calling horn or figurine, pay upkeep on a timer, then use the item outdoors to summon the beast, mount it, fly, and land when done. dismiss mount sends it away (hold the same item you called with).

Calling horns are ready to use once bought. Pay Jamir at the Talorien stables: upkeep <horn>. Horns usually cannot reach you indoors; they fail in chaos gates and CPK.

Figurines need an entrapped soul first: buy the figurine, find the live creature, beat it to near death, entrap <creature> while holding the figurine, then you can use it. Pay the roaming Beastmaster: ask beastmaster about <figurine> (same crown cost as upkeep on the stable sign). Figurines can reach you indoors more often than horns.

Most horns and figurines are sold by vendors in the Caves of Zildanric, a cave that moves on the wilderness map, so you must track it down. look sign at the Talorien stables lists upkeep by mount. Upkeep buys 30 days of service; if it lapses, the next summon arrives hostile. Phoenix, nightmare, bloodthirster, dracolich, and amethyst dragon are not on the standard vendor price list (other content only).

Air moves is how much stamina the mount has while flying (shown on your prompt). Higher means longer trips before a forced landing. Mounts that rate well for stealth—stealth fly, staying off survey—generally have fewer air moves than other flyers at a similar price. The Stealth column is a plain-language rating (none, low, moderate, high, very high, exceptional), not a game stat. Practice exotic mounts before riding high-aggro beasts.

Where to find creatures

Many mounts can be called from anywhere once you own the item. For figurines, you must entrap the live beast first, then hunt in countryside that matches the species. The Beastmaster’s hint names an area where yours might appear.

While flying, you cannot take off over deep water or lava, and land only works on solid ground. Below ~200 mount movement, your beast searches for somewhere safe to set down.

Prices are what vendors in the wandering caves usually charge. Upkeep is per payment at the stables (horns) or Beastmaster (figurines).
