When you reach level 40 as a rogue, you can start over as a sorcerer or monk. You drop to level 1, your hit points, mana, and movement reset, and you gain twenty extra practices. Most rogue skills stay on your character, but many will not work until you relevel in the new class.

This guide is for your first (or second) class change—not yet a hero (all three classes to 40). If you are a hero, use the hero guide instead.

What you must do

1. Be level 40 and still a rogue.
2. Choose a class you have not already completed (sorcerer or monk).
3. Travel to Jacen in the Village of Vangalis (see below).
4. Tell him multi sorcerer or multi monk.

Finding Jacen

Jacen lives alone in a small grass hut in Vangalis.

From Talorien, ask a shrine lorekeeper or beastmaster about Vangalis. They will tell you the current shrine entrance (entrances move over time).

After you multi

You begin at level 1 in the new class. Plan around old rogue commands failing until you qualify again.

You cannot multi into a class you have already finished until you become a hero.
