The Talorien Ferry is the main way to cross the open ocean between Loth Talon and Loth Lanour. The ride is free: stand on the dock when the boat arrives and the captain boards you automatically. There is no fare and no boarding command.
Where it runs
On Loth Talon, the ferry docks at Marienhafen, southeast of the City of Talorien. Leave the city gates, follow the coast southeast, and walk east into the fishing village to reach the pier.
On Loth Lanour, the ferry docks at Middenhafen, on the coast north of the City of Korpel. Leave the city walls and head north along the shore.
The wilderness map shows both villages if you are unsure of the way.
While the ferry is at sea, players outdoors in its zone can see it moving on the wilderness map.
How boarding works
- Go to the ferry dock on either island (not the ship itself).
- Wait until the ferry arrives and extends its gangplank.
- Everyone on the dock is led aboard automatically.
- When the ferry reaches the far island, you are escorted off at that dock.
If you are riding a mount, it disembarks with you.
Schedule
The ferry runs a continuous loop:
- Full round trip: about 6 minutes
- One crossing: a few minutes of sailing, with only a short window at each dock while the gangplank is down
At either dock, type look to read the schedule board. It tells you the ferry is already here, or about how many minutes until the next arrival.
In-game: help ferry.
