Several distant regions are linked by shimmering doorways inside ruined keeps. Use enter (or enter doorway) to step through. You drift briefly through the astral plane, then arrive at the other end. Your mount stays behind, and carrying a zone key in inventory blocks passage until you drop or use it.
For ocean crossings between the main islands, see the Talorien Ferry.
How to use a portal
- Stand in the room with the shimmering doorway.
- Type
enterorenter doorway. - Wait out the astral drift (a few seconds for the ruin link; longer for Ily'kras).
- You arrive at the matching doorway on the far side.
