Suggested equipment for each class at levels 10, 20, 30, and 40, broken out by alignment. These are curated hunting notes, not exhaustive loot tables: each page lists every equipment slot as a titled section (rogues split wield into backstab dagger and melee weapon), with item stats and where to find them. Slots without a pick at that level are left blank.

Stats on tweakable items assume best tweak rolls. Alignment and class restrictions still apply; if an item will not let you wear it, move on to the next pick.

Rogue

Rogues live on hitroll, damroll, and dagger dice for backstab. You wield one weapon at a time (swap dagger and melee); shields are a separate slot and still worth hitroll. Melee weapons matter when you cannot get behind a target.

Monk

Monks want mana, hit points, saves, and regen. Keep a wield stat stick (mana, wisdom, hitroll) even when you fight unarmed—the slot is for affects, not whether you swing the weapon.

Sorcerer

Sorcerers stack mana, casting stats, and spell saves. Keep a strong light and something worthwhile in hold (often a spellbook).
